It took me a year to get through the entire book. I think it is important to understand an almost comtemorary on the subject, de Lubicz believed he was the only authority on the subject of Al-Kemi, in short, the only living extention. His studies on ancient Egypt and Atlantis are interesting, Colin Wilson references de Lubicz in his book "From Atlantis to the Sphinx" many times. The latter I stumbled upon looking for what one might concider "cliff notes" for Al-Kemi, for I was unaware of anyone else who read it and desperately needed help understanding it, to some extent i will never fully understand it. I gathered that if one is studing esoteric history, then looking towards ancient Egypt and beyond is what Schwaller, or "AOR" believes is our start.

I just got it and was reading a bit. But I also got a few others I am reading first. I recommend Elixir of Immortality by Robert Cox, it gives a good background on alchemy.

As far as de Lubicz was saying in what I began reading. He is trying to impart the fact that innate intelligence is a direct path to God. Innate intelligence is another way to refer to the intuitive or heart path. The right brain path is from my point of view a dead end, it goes far but it does not go all the way. I only read the beginning but also read some articles and interview with him as well, so I know what he is trying to communicate.

Also Fulcanelli who is also considered a master alchemist was said to have stolen the manuscripts for the books he wrote from de Lubicz, which is not as bad as it sounds as de Lubicz did say it helped to promote his know;ledge which he was not willing to promote at the time.

He also says the Ancient Egyptian architecture embodies alchemical knowledge same way Chartes Cathedral is said to do.

        peace

        Rick
